Databaas started at Wolk, a Dutch data & AI agency located in Utrecht.
Founded by a group of data architects, engineers and product builders, Wolk's mission is to empower organizations on their digital transformation journey. Our focus has always been building high-quality data and AI solutions that create real-world impact.
Rather than chasing scale, we build collaborative partnerships with purpose-driven organizations, from the energy transition and high-tech manufacturing to the protein transition. Over the years, our clients kept running into the same limitations: "can we move our data off American servers and control it ourselves?"
The big platforms said no. So we took matters into our own hands.
Databaas is still built and maintained by the engineering team of Wolk.
